Crazy Tube Circuits Echotopia
This Greek outfit really makes great pedals. The Echotopia is a 4 head delay with tap tempo, modulation & run away delays. Each head has a separate volume control. If you are in to multi-head delays, you’d better check this out.
Earthquaker Disaster Transport Sr.
When you consider that many of the other pedals on this list have presets, you can see what a huge honor it is for this pedal to have made the list. The Earthquaker guys are genius level pedal designers and this delay sounds amazing. You get a long delay and a separate short delay. One delay has reverb and the other has modulation. What more do you want out of a single pedal?
Empress Echosystem
You know it’s amazing and it has 5 presets. The guys at Empress are second to none when it comes to creating soulful effects. How does this stack up against the others?
Source Audio Nemisis
Source audio makes great effects but the Nemisis and the Ventris Reverb pedal are packed full of musical possibilities. The addition of 4 presets is way cool too. Check it out. How to does it compare to the others>
Strymon DIG
It’s impossible to make a “best of” list without including a Strymon. Be warned, this isn’t a token entry and may very well be the best of the bunch. Strymon makes so many cool delay boxed, that it wouldn’t be a surprise is people over looked this guy but you get great delay tones, multi-tap with tap temp and a freeze option. It’s great, but how does it compare to the rest?
